DATING AND RELATIONSHIPS

Are Dating Apps Dead?

Dating apps are awful but we all know someone who met their partner in one of these cesspools!

While online connections have replaced old-fashioned introductions, the hype around dating apps is dwindling. But fear not! Fresh contenders keep popping up. Here are two new you may not have heard of:

Score: This app is for the financially savvy. If you've got a stellar credit score, you're in luck! A 2015 Federal Reserve study suggests that high credit scores correlate with committed relationships. To join, pass an Equifax credit check with a score above 675. Your actual number won't show on your profile, but if someone swipes right, they've passed the same test.

Vouch: Created by the brains behind the "Are We Dating the Same Guy" Facebook groups, Vouch is all about community verification. Women can share guys they've met, dated, or know as friends but didn't quite click with. Members can then suggest matches based on shared interests and compatibility. It's like having a personal matchmaker right in your social circle!
